This policy explains what Momentora collects, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect only what we need to make and host your websites, and we never sell your data.
1.What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
- What you make: the text, photos, names and links you add to your websites.
- Orders: what you bought, when, the amount and the payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay or Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Technical data: basic logs (like IP address and browser type) that keep the service secure and working.
2.How we use it
- to run your account and save your work;
- to publish and serve your websites;
- to process payments and send receipts;
- to answer your messages and keep the service secure.
3.People who open your website
Published websites don't require the people you send them to to sign up. They don't use advertising trackers. A few preferences (like whether sounds are muted) are stored only in the visitor's own browser.
4.Who we share it with
We only share data with the services that help us run Momentora:
- payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) to take payments;
- hosting and storage providers to serve your websites and photos;
- authorities, only when the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
5.Published websites are public links
Anyone with the link to a published website can open it. Please only include photos and details you're happy to share with the people you send it to.
6.How long we keep it
We keep your account and websites while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your websites and personal data, except order records we must keep for tax and accounting.
7.Your choices
You can see and edit your details on your account page, edit or delete any website from your dashboard, and delete your whole account yourself from the account page (it takes every live site down). For a copy of your data, write to support@momentora.in.
8.Security
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and access to data is limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfect, so tell us right away if you spot something that looks wrong.
